Autumn Leaf Collection

Every year, the Department of Public Works picks up approximately 7,500 cubic yards of leaves and transports the leaves to an approved recycling depot.

Leaf pick-ups commence in mid-October and continue through December. Only leaves and grass are permitted. There should be no branches, sticks, rocks, or debris of any kind. To avoid maintenance issues, leaves should not be placed within 10 feet of a storm drain outlet.
