Recreation Department

Overview

The Borough of Oradell's Recreation Department sponsors activities, sports leagues, and programs that enhance the quality of life for residents of all ages. In addition, in close concert with the Borough's DPW,  the Recreation Department manages the Borough's many parks, playgrounds, and recreational and athletic facilities. It also coordinates field and facility use, issues required permits and tennis and pickle ball court badges, and establishes requirements to ensure coaches uphold the highest standards for safety and sportsmanship.

The Borough employees and volunteers who work in these areas strive to make Oradell a wonderful place to live by organizing special events, presenting cultural and recreational programs, and safeguarding the history of this award-winning "Family Town" for future generations.
