What requirements must I meet to work with the Borough?

All business organizations that work with the Borough of Oradell are required to submit proof of registration with the New Jersey Department of Treasury. A business organization is defined as an individual, partnership, association, joint stock company, trust, corporation, or other legal business entity or successor thereof. There are no exceptions for out-of-state vendors.

The required proof is a copy of your New Jersey Business Registration Certificate. This certificate must be on file with the Borough of Oradell before a purchase order can be issued. For more information about registering your business, visit the New Jersey Department of the Treasury's Website.

In addition, the Internal Revenue Service requires a W-9 form be on file with the Borough of Oradell for all vendors. Access the W-9 Form here.


How can I participate in an RFQ?

To enhance the competitive bidding process, the Borough of Oradell regularly solicits bids, proposals, and quotations for the procurement of goods and services in accordance with Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A 40A:11-1 et seq.

Information about current bid and contract opportunities is available online . Alternatively, specifications for a particular bid, RFP, or RFQ may be obtained from the Borough Clerk's Office at 355 Kinderkamack Rd, Oradell, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Please read and review specifications, as outlined in the documentation. Bids should be delivered to the Borough Clerk's Office prior to the specified deadline and be presented in sealed envelopes, marked with the bidder’s name and the item therein. 

The Borough will not assume any responsibility for bids sent by mail. Mailed bids should be sent by Certified Mail.  All bids are required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
