Overview

The Tax Collector prepares nearly 2,900 property tax bills, added assessment bills, and excess sewer usage bills. 

Annual tax bills are mailed as soon as the tax rate is struck by the Bergen County Board of Taxation. The Tax Collector holds an annual online tax sale, adjusts the tax accounts when tax appeals are granted, as well as applying senior citizen, disabled, and veteran deductions.
