Departments, Boards, and Committees


Working closely with government and administrative officials, Oradell's departments, boards, and committees carry out all aspects of Borough operations. With the exception of Oradell's Volunteer Fire Department, most "departments" comprise full- and part-time employees. "Boards" and "committees" describe organizations that may also be composed of residents who volunteer their time in order to improve the community. Each department, board, and committee is assigned a Council liaison, who acts as a link between that organization and the Mayor and Council.
