The following items are not accepted at Oradell's Recycling Center:

  • tires
  • hazardous waste
  • paint
  • propane tanks
  • construction debris
  • sheetrock
  • fencing
  • plumbing items
  • carpet
  • concrete
  • windows
  • household trash
  • household batteries

Oradell's Recycling Center, located at 2 Marginal Road, is open to residents Monday though Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on the first and third Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Recycling Center is operated by the Borough's Department of Public Works and is for use by Oradell residents only.

The following items are accepted:

  • plastic
  • aluminum
  • glass
  • newspaper
  • cardboard
  • styrofoam
  • grass clippings/tree branches/vegetative waste
  • metals
  • appliances
  • books (hard covers must be removed)
  • phone books
  • clothes
  • TV
  • computers
  • motor oil

Please Note: Contact the Department of Public Works at
201-261-8610 with questions. There is no commercial

dumping. The Recycling Center's main gates are locked
outside of opening hours.
